Originally founded a SBA approved 8(a), SDB, and HUBZone joint venture in October 2003 to pursue the GSA’s FAST replacement contract now referred to as the GSA STARS GWAC (Government Wide Acquisition Contract), HCI-CI was awarded contract GS-06F-0493Z in June 2004 based on performance to date has already qualified for automatic extension through May 31, 2011. This GWAC was awarded under the Section 8(a) set-aside rules and includes awards for six of the eight available functional areas and has a ceiling value in excess of $120,000,000.00 and allows for directed sole source task orders awards up to $3.0 Million in value each.
