General:
* Three years’ work experience with at least two of them performed successfully in an Administrative Support or Security Specialist role preferably within DoD, a Combatant Command (COCOM), or other Intelligence Community (IC) Agency.
**These positions require an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher. Candidates who do not currently hold this level of clearance will not be considered.
Positions are contingent upon award of work.
Duties:
Provide professional customer service at all times.
Create, reproduce, store, search, retrieve, distribute, inventory, transport, archive, and destroy all hardcopy documentation and softcopy data as directed by the Government.
Maintain 100% accountability of all personnel security files (hardcopy or softcopy) during handling and processing as well as ensure the accuracy of entries made to the same personnel security files and any associated database.
Review personnel security forms to ensure the scope of information requested in the instructions is met, identify any incomplete or inconsistent data, and contact the relevant subject to obtain omissions, corrections or required signatures.
Order copies of existing investigations or other adjudicative information from various federal agencies or commercial providers.
Sort all incoming investigative or adjudicative documentation and correctly merge them with existing files.
Retrieve and enter data into internal and external databases pertaining to recruiting actions, personnel security clearances/access, briefings and de-briefings, foreign travel and contact, internal workflows or archival information.
Schedule appointments for investigation interviews, administrative advisories, or polygraph examinations.
Process security clearance notifications for off-site visits and in-coming visitors.
Collect, process, and distribute metric productivity reports.
Create, maintain, and track suspense action files.
Keep current of investigative, adjudicative, and clearance access requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information.
Perform standard office reception functions to include entry and circulation control (i.e., escorting), answering telephones and referring customers to other relevant points of contact when necessary. Respond to direct queries for information (walk-ins, telephone, and/or e-mail). Prepare, edit, format, and finalize out-going correspondence. Maintain office supply inventory and order supplies. Maintain personnel access rosters to office spaces. Collect, process, and distribute all other in-coming and out-going mail.
Preform other administrative, operational, functional, or mission related task or service by the as directed by the Government.
Security Specialist
Perform requirements listed for Security Clerk.
Schedule appointments for and conduct security briefings and de-briefings.
Process applications, produce, and issue courier cards, building passes, identification badges or access cards as required.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
Three years’ work experience with at least two of them performed successfully in an Administrative Support or Security Specialist role preferably within DoD, a Combatant Command (COCOM), or other Intelligence Community (IC) Agency.
Proficiency in operating standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, photocopiers, printers, scanners, and shredders.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat.
Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor .
Experience working multiple projects concurrently and within deadlines while ensuring that complex information is conveyed in a clear, accurate and concise manner.
